Job Description
The Lab Education Coordinator provides direct instruction, supervision, and support to faculty delivering the course-required lab curriculum to nursing students. This role collaborates closely with course faculty and clinical coordinators to ensure high-quality, evidence-based lab instruction aligned with program goals and student learning outcomes. The Lab Education Coordinator ensures standardized evaluation practices, promotes interrater reliability, and supports faculty development in alignment with institutional goals, the AACN Essentials, and the INACSL Healthcare Simulation Standards of Best Practice. The Lab Education Coordinator reports directly to the Director of the Center for Clinical and Educational Resources (CCER) and indirectly to the Lead Clinical Coordinator.
