General Summary:
The Library Coordinator II will charge, renew and discharge library books and materials; aid library users in locating and using materials; monitor the borrowing of materials; verify the proper location of books and materials; and perform related work as required. The basic purpose of this work is to aid in the maintenance, preparation, distribution and lending of library books and other materials.

Qualifications:
Incumbent must have at least one year of full-time or equivalent part-time experience as a library assistant, preferably in an academic library working with a research community. Library experience can be substituted with equivalent educational background, such as a bachelor’s degree. Knowledge of the latest trends and issues in academic libraries preferred. Familiarity with interlibrary loan work, reserves transactions, use of library technology preferred, including Ex Libris Alma and Springshare suite. Supervisor experience preferred. The incumbent will be required to work weekends. Ability to meet a routine, late afternoon/evening schedule. Working schedule will be adjusted as Healey Library hours change due to expanded or reduced library hours reflecting semester, winter session, summer, and other changes that are customary in academic institutions.
