Job Summary:
We are seeking an equity-minded candidate to join our exceptional faculty on a full-time basis in the College of Education and Human Development at the University of Massachusetts Boston beginning September 1, 2025. The position will be located in the Department of Counseling, School Psychology, and Sport. The candidate will assume a core faculty, non-tenure-track lecturer position, teaching primarily in the School Counseling Master’s (MPCAC accredited) degree program and secondarily in the Mental Health Counseling Master’s (MPCAC) degree program.
The position requires in-person and remote teaching and ability to engage in service activities in person. Teaching assignments may vary depending on the needs of the department and will include a teaching load of 8 courses across the fall and spring semesters.

We seek candidates with teaching and clinical experience, preferably licensed, who have a commitment to serving students from a wide variety of backgrounds and identities. Ideally, we seek candidates whose teaching and clinical/supervisory practices display an understanding of the impact of systemic and structural racism and other sources of discrimination on mental health and disability status and/or prevention and intervention efforts, consistent with the University’s mission.
