General Summary: 

The Program Coordinator for the Institute for the Early Education Leaders Institute provides day-to-day management, leadership, and coordination for the assigned project, including grant compliance, monitoring and reporting, and maintaining communication with the funder.

Examples of Duties: 

  • Oversee a service delivery implementation strategy that leverages diverse modes of communication, a centralized calendar, and well-defined benchmarks to ensure that all stakeholders understand what services are available to them and what is expected of them.
  • Work with Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Evaluation Manager to utilize the data generated from the Midyear and Annual Programmatic Reports as a needs assessment of the overall Instructional Leadership program.
  • Coordinate the development of statewide training institutes to build regional and statewide capacity of T/TA providers to deliver consistent services in accordance with quality standards.
  • Support the implementation of direct services.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the project.
  • Assist with preparation and submission of evaluation reports to EEC in connection with all deliverables.
  • Coordinate translation of learning and communication materials as needed.
  • Responsible for ongoing implementation of all contract requirements and compliance.
  • Coordinates and monitors registration, including waitlist.
  • Supports the recruitment of participants.
  • Monitors services, deliverables, and responsibilities.
  • Work closely with evaluation team to coordinate effective feedback loops between data, planning, and services.
  • Supports implementation of social media and other communications to the field about the model and services offered.
  • Manages entry and tracking in the course registration system.
  • Prepares and coordinates learning material distribution for the PLC and training events for facilitators/coaches.
  • Manages communications distribution list for the project.
  • Supports implementation of social media and other communications to the field about the model and services offered.
  • Supports scheduling of meetings with key partners or interested parties.
  • Prepares and distributes certificates to participants as needed.
  • Coordinates purchasing of all supplies and processes reimbursements as needed.
  • Prepares and coordinates learning material distribution for the PLC and training events for facilitators/coaches.

Qualifications: 

Bachelor’s Degree Required, master’s degree preferred. 3-5 years’ experience of program coordination and management required. Knowledge of Early Childhood sector strongly preferred. Demonstrated proficiency in professional office software, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

This is an exempt union position. This is a grant funded position with a current end date of June 30, 2025, subject to renewal contingent on funding and university needs.
