General Summary:
The Manning College of Nursing and Health Sciences (MCNHS) Working Agreements Specialist support the process of placing students in clinical/internship learning experiences for all programs in the college with the specific area of responsibility of executing working agreements with agencies, in which faculty teach and students engage in experiential clinical and internship activities and coordinating internship placements for the Exercise & Health Sciences program.
The working agreements are negotiated in collaboration with internship and clinical partners to establish or maintain valued partnerships for student clinical experiences. The staff member works directly with all MCNHS program directors and Clinical Placement Specialists in assessing, planning, and implementing students' clinical placements, internships and educational experiences. The Working Agreements Specialist will interact daily with the Clinical and Internship Placement Office (CIPO) and will report directly to the Associate Dean for Academic Affairs. The Working Agreements Specialist will ensure that agreements between the University and clinical placement agencies are completed in a timely manner and ensure that students are in compliance with working agreement stipulations regarding clinical clearance requirements. Working Agreement Specialist will collaborate with administration, faculty, and program directors and assistants to develop and maintain processes to ensure accurate agency placement details.
