General Summary:
The Assistant Vice Chancellor (AVC) for Student Financial Services will report to the Vice Chancellor of Enrollment Management and will play a key leadership role in overseeing and enhancing the Office of Financial Aid Services, Merit Scholarship Office, Student Employment Services, Office of Veterans Affairs and The One Stop. The incumbent will be responsible for coordinating the efforts and strategies of each business unit while providing leadership and expertise in the areas of fund management, compliance, leveraging of aid, operations, student service, and more. The AVC for Student Financial Services will foster and maintain a cross-departmental commitment to student-centered services, proactive outreach, and support. This position will play a key role in contributing to the achievement of enrollment and student success outcomes in support of the university’s mission.

Management leadership and key institutional stakeholders.

Qualifications:
Master’s Degree and a minimum of seven-ten (7-10) years of progressively responsible experience in higher education, including prior experience serving as a Director of Financial Aid required. Extensive knowledge of state and federal laws surrounding financial aid and aid administration. Experience monitoring, applying and communicating about Title IV eligibility. Knowledge of Veterans Administration regulation and requirements. Demonstrated knowledge of student information systems and ability to analyze system requirements and data.

Salary Range: Commensurate with experience
