The Department of Counseling and School Psychology in the College of Education and Human Development at the University of Massachusetts Boston seeks a full-time Visiting Assistant Professor in Counseling Psychology to begin September 1, 2022. Position is for one year, with potential for a second year, contingent upon performance and funding. Applicants will contribute to our APA-Accredited Doctoral Programs in Counseling Psychology and School Psychology as well as our MPCAC-Accredited Masters in Mental Health program.
Responsibilities: This position is to primarily contribute clinical expertise in the area of supervision and assessment training for doctoral students doing practicum and clinical education for both doctoral students and masters students.
Requirements: Doctorate in Counseling or School Psychology or related field. Licensed Psychologist, preferably in Massachusetts, and a strong record of clinical and teaching experience. Strong preference will be given to candidates who have experience in conducting clinical supervision and teaching clinically focused courses.
