Athletic Trainer UMass Boston
As part of UMass Boston’s Holistic Performance Team, an integrated program designed to enhance both individual student-athlete and team performance through a holistic approach combining sports medicine, athletic training, strength and conditioning, sport science, sports dietetics, and mental health/well-being, the Athletic Trainer will play a key role in supporting student-athlete health, performance, and recovery. Responsibilities include the prevention, evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation of athletic injuries, ensuring a cohesive, collaborative, and effective approach to student- athlete wellness. This position serves UMass Boston’s 20 NCAA Division III varsity athletic programs, which compete in the Little East Conference.
GPS Enrollment Support Specialist (Temporary/Part-Time) UMass Lowell
The UMass Lowell division of Graduate, Online, and Professional Studies (GPS) is seeking qualified applicants to join our growing team of student success professionals. The Enrollment Support Specialist (ESS) will review the records of incoming and current students, with the program’s academic advisor, to ensure timely follow-up on worksheets, advisement reports, and university petitions and exceptions, ensuring a smooth path to degree completion for undergraduate continuing education students, supporting student retention and enrollment efforts.
Secondary Clinical Supervisors (temporary/part-time) UMass Lowell
University of Massachusetts Lowell is seeking part-time program supervisors with interest and experience teaching in middle and high schools to supervise teacher candidates in their practicum. Program Supervisors observe, coach, and train graduate candidates seeking teacher licensure in math, the sciences, history, and English. Candidates work collaboratively with teacher preparation faculty on supervision protocols and executing the state mandated Candidate Assessment of Performance (CAP). Supervisions typically occur 1-2 times per month on weekdays between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m., in schools around the state.. Supervisors observe and meet regularly with teacher candidates during their practicum.
Assistant Director for Experiential Outdoor Education & Adventure UMass Amherst
The Assistant Director for Experiential Outdoor Education and Adventure provides department leadership to create a vision and build an experiential outdoor education and adventure program. Will be responsible for daily management and oversight of adventure-based recreation programs, professional staff and student employees overseeing the operations of those areas. These areas will include outdoor adventure trips/workshops, indoor climbing center, outdoor adventure equipment rental center, challenge course, and management of selected outdoor locations on campus.
