The College of Natural Sciences (CNS) Career & Professional Development Center is hiring one position, which may be filled at either the Assistant Director or Career Advisor level, depending on the candidate’s qualifications and experience. The Assistant Director/Career Advisor of Career & Professional Development Center works under the general direction of the Director of Career & Professional Development Center in CNS, to plan and organize career development and experiential learning activities for CNS undergraduates and recent alumni in cooperation with department heads and faculty.
Associate/Full Professor & Director - Institute for Community Inclusion UMass Boston
The College of Education and Human Development is seeking a tenured, equity-minded leader who can advance our college mission, in leading the Institute for Community Inclusion (ICI). The Director will also hold a qualified Associate/Full Professor position in an academic unit within the College of Education and Human Development. The Director is responsible for providing overall direction and oversight for the ICI thereby implementing the ICI’s mission and values. The Director will work with senior staff to integrate operations, program development, strategic planning, academic and scholarly pursuits and external relationships across all interested partners and entities. The incumbent will be the public leader of the ICI and will help facilitate the integration of the activities of the ICI into the activities of the School for Global Inclusion and Social Development (SGISD) and the College of Education and Human Development (CEHD), as well as other institutes and centers of the University of Massachusetts Boston; and coordinate all ICI activities occurring at Boston Children’s Hospital. Specific areas of responsibility include strategic planning, organizational leadership and development, management of the ICI’s diverse programs and functions. The Director will supervise the Associate Director and core senior faculty/staff. The Director serves as the director of the University Center on Excellence in Developmental Disabilities and holds an appointment at Boston Children’s Hospital.

Facilities Senior Space Specialist UMass Lowell
Reporting to the Facilities Information Systems Manager, the Facilities Senior Space Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and usefulness of campus space data across all university facilities. The primary responsibility of the position is to manage the space inventory system, coordinate and lead periodic space audits across all campus buildings, and serve as a point of contact for departments verifying their space records, as well as any reporting and analytics needed. This role also supports collaboration with campus stakeholders and assists in resolving space-related discrepancies. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders. As a member of a small FIS team, this position may assist with a variety of other functions including records management systems, GIS and software licensing.
