Administrative Manager Engineering
Reporting to the Engineering Department Chair, the Administrative Manager will work closely with the Chair and serve as a liaison to the College of Science and Mathematics (CSM) Dean's Office, the Unified Procurement Services Team (UPST), the Office of Graduate Studies (OGS), the Office of Research and Sponsored Programs (ORSP), Human Resources (HR), and other relevant stakeholders on matters related to the department's finances, budget, personnel actions, student requests, and day-to-day administrative operations. The incumbent will directly supervise staff and serve as the main point of contact for the department.
Assistant Professor (Applied Linguistics) Applied Linguistics
The Applied Linguistics Department at the University of Massachusetts Boston invites applications for a full-time tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Professor with a start date of September 1st 2026. Senior Research Associate Asian American Institute
The Senior Research Associate will initiate, develop, lead, and conduct research and related projects for the Institute for Asian American Studies. Responsibilities include seeking external funding; pursuing collaborations with a variety of entities including faculty, government agencies and community-based organizations; and supervising research and program support staff. Support staff includes UMass Boston undergraduate and graduate students. This is a unique opportunity for those interested in research on Asian American issues and Asian American community engagement.
Assistant Professor (Economics) Economics
The Department of Economics at UMass Boston invites applications for a tenure track Assistant Professor position in Health Economics and related fields to begin September 1, 2026. The Economics Department at UMass Boston is a vibrant and diverse group with an established history of methodological and theoretical pluralism with particular focus on issues related to poverty, inequality, gender, and race. This position will further deepen our focus in these areas, as well as support our growing cohorts of undergraduate majors as well as the Department's M.A. in Applied Economics.
Assistant Professor (Public Policy and Public Affairs) Public Policy & Public Affairs
The Department of Public Policy and Public Affairs at the University of Massachusetts Boston invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor to join our faculty beginning September 1, 2026. The Department is especially interested in hiring a candidate with a degree in applied social sciences. We welcome applications from fields such as public health, health policy, sociology, political science, public policy, public administration, among others. Priority will be given to candidates with expertise in health and/or economic inequality by race/ethnicity, disability status, gender, among other key factors, as those relate to health policy, international development or a combination of health policy and international development.
