General Summary:
The Vice Provost provides leadership for the development, implementation and assessment of Holistic Student Success and oversees the Student Equity, Access, and Success (SEAS) unit. SEAS is comprised of three major work areas: Inclusive Excellence; Pathway Programs; and, Academic and Career Engagement and Success (ACES).
The incumbent is responsible for ensuring that undergraduate and graduate students at UMass Boston have access to equity-minded and inclusive resources, services, and learning opportunities that support the development and achievement of their academic and career goals. She works collaboratively with the Provost, Vice Chancellors, Deans, faculty, staff, and students to design and coordinate integrated academic and career programming and services that recognize the cultural wealth and the diversity of identities and experiences that comprise the UMass Boston community.

Doctorate required. At least ten (10) years of professional leadership positions with increased responsibility in managing innovative academic advising, career services, academic support services or relevant student services with supervision required.
