Assistant Professor of Inorganic Chemistry Chemistry
The College of Science & Mathematics at the University of Massachusetts Boston invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Inorganic Chemistry in the Chemistry Department to begin September 1, 2025. Applicants must have a PhD in chemistry, or a related scientific field, with a track record in experimental inorganic chemistry, broadly defined. The successful candidate is expected to establish a highly productive, externally-funded, research program. Candidates whose scientific interests complement those of existing faculty within the Department and College, and who can develop cross-disciplinary collaborations, are preferred. Our department offers multiple PhD tracks in chemistry, as well as MS, ACS-accredited BS, and BA degrees in Chemistry. Assistant Professor (Experimental Quantum Information Science) Physics
The Department of Physics in the College of Science and Mathematics at the University of Massachusetts Boston invites applicants for a full-time tenure track Assistant Professor to pursue a research program focusing on experimental research in the fields of Quantum Information Science to begin September 1, 2025. We will prioritize candidates whose research complements existing strengths in theoretical Quantum Science and Technology research within the department. Candidates whose research also has potential overlap with experimental research in the department (as an example: applications of quantum sensing to biophysics) are encouraged to apply. The successful applicant is expected to establish an externally funded research program, direct the research of students at the doctoral, masters, and undergraduate levels, and interact effectively with colleagues within the Physics Department and across the College of Science and Mathematics. The successful applicant will also be expected to teach and further develop the Quantum Information Certificate program we have established at UMass Boston. Applicants must have a PhD or equivalent degree and relevant postdoctoral research experience.

Assistant Professor (Data Science and Applied Mathematics) Mathematics

Assistant Professor (Marine Ecology) Biology
The Biology Department in the College of Science and Mathematics at the University of Massachusetts Boston seeks to hire an Assistant Professor in the field of Marine Ecology to begin September 1, 2025. Successful candidates will be expected to undertake externally funded research in marine ecology defined broadly and to satisfy important teaching needs of the Department of Biology in ecology, zoology, conservation biology, and/or evolution. Applicants must have a PhD or equivalent degree and relevant postdoctoral research experience. The Assistant Professor hired for this position will direct the research of students at the undergraduate, masters, and doctoral levels, interact with a dynamic group of ecologists and evolutionary biologists, and become an active participant in our Environmental Biology and/or Molecular, Cellular, and Organismal Biology PhD programs. Graduate Program Director Senior Lecturer Gerontology Institute

The Department seeks to hire an experienced, skilled individual who, in addition to regular duties, will work with the community and aging network to manage and direct the Management of Aging Services Masters and Certificate Programs. The person who fills this position will be a Fellow in the Gerontology Institute at UMass Boston and may also have an affiliation with the Center for Social and Demographic Research in Aging or LeadingAge LTSS Center, both located within the Gerontology Institute.

Digital Initiatives Archivist Healey Library
Reporting to the University Archivist and Curator of Special Collections, the Digital Initiatives Archivist is responsible for managing the digital assets of the University Archives and Special Collections (UASC). This includes developing and implementing digital research and pedagogical initiatives that align with the goals of the Archives, the Library, and the University. The Digital Initiatives Archivist will oversee the accessioning, processing, description, preservation, and access to born-digital and digitized materials according to archival standards and best practices. The Digital Initiatives Archivist supports the development of digital infrastructure and strategy in the Archives at UMass Boston, including the coordination of digitization projects, management of collection content databases, and implementation of digital preservation workflows. This position will collaborate with UASC staff to establish, streamline, and improve digital initiatives in strategic, efficient ways to enhance access to archival materials for research and instruction. The position will also contribute to advancing the outreach and engagement goals of the Archives, including assisting with aspects of archival instruction and participatory archiving programs that align with the incumbent's expertise.
Simulation Lab Faculty A Nursing
The Manning college's department of nursing has a new faculty position as a Simulation Lab Faculty. There are several opportunities as either full time or part time faculty in the simulation lab. Most positions are 12 month but 9 month positions are also possible.
Clinical Assistant Professor A Nursing
