Graduate Assistantship: Fall 2020

The Bloomberg Lab Asset provides an unique internship-like experience. The role of the Graduate Assistant (GA) is to facilitate this process: from classroom concepts to a hands on practicum.

Tasks may include

  • Serve as mentor for students, help them navigate Bloomberg Terminal & provide guidance and resource suggestions for assignments.
  • Create/Update the practicum binder
  • Facilitate Company Visits
  • Webcite Accounts, social media etc.
  • Ad Hoc Projects

 TAs Qualifications

  • Must be a Master’s student in good academic standing with a GPA above 3.0
  • Must have sufficient understanding of Bloomberg terminal
  • Must have a solid background in core finance concepts (AF 623, AF 628,AF 616 for example.).


Must be a College of Management Graduate Student.

Must be enrolled in classes for the Fall 2020 semester and available for the academic year.

Stipend total $9,046 (paid bi-weekly over 36 weeks/18 pay periods)

All graduate assistantships receive a tuition credit waiver proportional to their level of assistantship. The tuition credit waiver is applicable only toward state tuition courses. Payment of any remaining tuition, fees, or expenses is the responsibility of the student. You are also eligible for a contribution towards the cost of university provided student health insurance (SHP), and dental (HMO) and vision care (HMO) as provided in the current collective bargaining agreement.
