Assistant Director of Admissions, Veteran and Military Outreach Undergraduate Admissions
UMass Boston’s Division of Enrollment Management is seeking to hire an Assistant Director for Admissions, Veteran, and Military Outreach. The Assistant Director is responsible for developing and implementing recruitment strategies to attract veterans and transfer students to UMass Boston. This role includes intentional outreach initiatives, application review, military and transfer credit evaluation, and close collaboration with campus partners to support military-affiliated students throughout the admissions process.
Executive Assistant to the Dean CM - Dean's Office
Under the direction of the Dean for the College of Management, the Executive Assistant to the Dean will provide advanced administrative support to the Dean by performing complex, varied and confidential administrative and financial functions supporting the College’s strategic priorities. The Executive Assistant to the Dean will be a strong, positive collaborative presence for the Dean’s Office staff. The incumbent will serve as the primary contact for the Chancellor’s Office, Academic Affairs, Administration and Finance, the University President’s Office, other university departments, as well as external organizations and individuals, such as alumni and business, non-profit and government leaders. The incumbent will work to ensure that items requiring follow-up are dealt with in a timely manner.
Associate Lecturer (Mathematics) Mathematics
The Department of Mathematics at UMass Boston anticipates having one or more associate lecturer positions in mathematics starting in the Fall 2025 semester. At least one of these positions will strongly focus on our Quantitative Reasoning course. Renewals are contingent upon performance, availability of resources, and need in the department.
Graduate Program Director Senior Lecturer Gerontology Institute
The Department of Gerontology invites qualified persons to apply for a non-tenure-track, program director position to join our faculty beginning September 1, 2025. The Department seeks to hire an experienced, skilled individual who, in addition to regular duties, will work with the community and aging network to manage and direct the Management of Aging Services Masters and Certificate Programs. The person who fills this position will be a Fellow in the Gerontology Institute at UMass Boston and may also have an affiliation with the Center for Social and Demographic Research in Aging or LeadingAge LTSS Center, both located within the Gerontology Institute.
Liaison Librarian I-III Healey Library
Reporting to the AUL for Academic Engagement in Healey Library, and working closely with colleagues in ROI, the AUL for Collections and other library units, the Liaison Librarian provides in-depth library research and instructional support at the University of Massachusetts Boston. This full-time position will collaborate with colleagues in the library and across campus to instruct, engage and support the nearly 17,000 students, and 1,100 faculty in the full range of library resources and services, on and off campus. Healey Library is restarting and revitalizing its Liaison Librarian program, whereby each librarian in the unit will teach information literacy sessions and workshops in General Education, but each will also have subject specialty areas on which they will focus for other workshops, and will also contribute to Collections activities, such as communicating faculty suggestions to the Head of Collections, sharing in review and trials of databases, and related activities.
