The Department of Accounting & Finance at the University of Massachusetts Boston invites applications for one full-time Non-tenure Track Lecturer position in Accounting beginning Spring 2019. Candidates in all areas of interest, preferably in the area of taxation, are encouraged to apply.  

The candidate should hold at least a master’s degree in accounting. Professional certification such as a CPA, CMA, or CIA is highly desirable. Candidates should exhibit a strong commitment to excellence in teaching. Preference will be given to candidates with experience teaching undergraduate/graduate courses in Accounting.

The Department is part of the AACSB-accredited College of Management, which offers bachelor and master’s degrees and PhD degree including an online, and a flex-MBA. The Department has an established Business Centers including the Financial Services Forum, which is a source of current information and commentary on the health and critical issues facing the financial services industry in Boston and nationally. The region is a global hub of innovation and expertise in a number of sectors, including financial services, clean tech, biotech, healthcare, life sciences, education, and software development.
