Special Assistant Vice Chancellor and Director of Athletics & Recreation and for Strategic Initiatives Athletics
This is a 12-month full-time administrative appointment, reporting directly to Vice Chancellor of Athletics and Recreation (VCAR) with dotted reporting lines to the Deputy Athletic Director for Internal Administration and Operations/Senior Woman Administrator (SWA) and Deputy Athletic Director for Strategic Initiatives. This position provides complex administrative support to the VCAR and the executive operations. Additionally, this position will develop, coordinate, implement and manage effective and data-informed communication strategies and practices specific to committees, projects and initiatives as assigned by the VCAR. This position is involved in planning, facilitating and/or coordinating department-wide initiatives, projects and committees. Working independently or collaboratively with the VC of Athletics and Recreation/Department Head, Deputy Athletic Directors, athletics leadership team and staff/coaches and/or constituents across campus, this position organizes, supports and coordinates activities and projects that advance the initiatives, needs and goals of the department. General responsibilities also include the development, supervision and management of a student worker administrative support team to ensure appropriate office coverage, customer service and internal departmental responsiveness and the coordination of business meeting meals (Division-Wide, senior leadership, team dinners, staff/coach gatherings). This person is expected to work collaboratively with student leadership, internal groups, campus-wide departments and organizations, and demonstrate a working knowledge of sound budget management skills. This person will also work closely and at times with direction from the Executive Deputy Athletic Director/SWA and Deputy Athletic Director for Strategic Advancement to support of department-wide project work. Additional responsibilities in department-wide administration as assigned.

Simulation Lab Manager MCNHS - Dean's Office
The Simulation Operations Manager provides leadership for the operational functions of the Center for Clinical Education and Research (CCER). Reporting to the Director, the incumbent is responsible for planning, directing, and evaluating simulation center operations in support of undergraduate, graduate, and continuing professional education programs.
Associate Director, Upward Bound & Urban Scholars Upward Bound
The Associate Director will be responsible for the recruitment, screening, selection, and intake of program participants and will meet with a caseload of program participants to provide holistic coaching and academic guidance regarding their secondary school progress, college and career goals, and postsecondary entry. The incumbent will assist the Director of Programs in planning and implementing the summer programs, including selecting and training program teachers, tutors and teaching assistants and facilitating orientations for staff, students, and parents. In the absence of the Director of Programs, the Associate Director will assume responsibility during the summer for program operations, including staff supervision, and for the safety and well-being of the student attendees. During the summer, the Associate Director will reside full-time at the summer residential site and will teach a course section. They will plan, implement and chaperone academic, career, and cultural field trips and activities and in collaboration with other program staff, will promote and report on program events. They will assist the Director of Programs with the collection of program data and the submission of regular program reports.
Emerging Technology Strategist IT Ed Tech & Learning Commons
The Emerging Technology Strategist provides in-person technical, operational, and applied leadership for the evaluation, piloting, implementation, and day-to-day support of emerging technologies at the University of Massachusetts Boston. This role plays a critical function in translating innovation strategy into hands-on execution, ensuring that new technologies—particularly those related to artificial intelligence (AI), innovation platforms, and MakerSpace (3D Printing) environments are responsibly introduced, effectively supported, and positioned for broader institutional adoption. Reporting to the Director for Emerging Technology, Innovation & Digital Accessibility, the Strategist serves as the primary technical lead responsible for evaluating, piloting, implementing, and supporting emerging technologies and innovation initiatives. The position works closely with faculty, researchers, staff, students, and IT partners to support teaching, research, administrative workflows, and innovation programming. This position will also be responsible for maintaining the MakerSpace Studio’s 3D printers and other assistive technology.
